Okay, so I really like blues rock, and I was wondering what the best songs and/or artists of the genre are. I know B.B. King is famous as well as Eric Clapton, but I don't know too many of their songs (barely any), and was hoping someone would point me in a good direction. :c

On an unrelated note: does anybody know of any or if there is any good composing app for the iTouch? Like with playback and shit because I am not eartrained that well, and I always want to put ideas down, but I doubt my sense of intervals, zzz.

Also if you can't tell I only listen to Texas Blues, so Eric Clapton and the like aren't really my foray.
Led Zeppelin has some outstanding bluesy songs though.

Janis Joplin is also fantastic.

Exile on Main St. from the stones is considered one of the greatest albums of all time, and many other blues rock albums after were influenced by it.

I'm getting too tired to search for more music but check out Muddy Waters, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Allman  Brothers, and even The Dead Weather and The Seatbelts too. I have an irrational dislike of The Fabulous Thunderbirds but they're also notable. Sword's and Anski's posts are on the money as well
