Inspired of the fairy tale made by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve

Story
Once upon a time, there was a castle, in a land, far far away..
In the castle lived a princeIn the castle lived a prince, with his father, the king.
The king was a very rich man, who could give his son what he wanted.
Because of this, the prince became prince greedy, spoiled and mean.
When his father then passed away, the prince took over the throne.
He ruled the kingdom as his father once made, but his personality never changed.

One day, an old woman knocked at the castle gate. She had wandered from
country to country, and was very tired, and wanted somewhere to rest.

The prince was disgusted by her appearance, and slapped back gate.
It knocked on the gate again, and again it was the woman who stood there. She explained
to the prince that you should not go on appearance, for beauty is within us.

But when the prince slapped back gate for a second time, the woman
turned into a beautiful witch. She had seen that the prince had no love in his heart.
As a punishment, she turned him into a monster, and put a curse over the whole castle.

The prince tried to ask for forgiveness, and prayed to turn him back to human.

The witch explained that if he learned to love another human being,
and also win her love back, then the spell would broken. The witch leaved the castle,
leaving the prince behind in the castle.

The prince isolate himself in his castle because of his apperence, and
the castle fell into oblivion.

Four years had passed, and the prince had lost all hope of
becoming human again. Because, Who would fall in love with a monster?

In a village, far from the castle, lived a writer and his two daughters.
The one named Marguerite was the oldest one. She was called "little gem",
because she was more spoiled then her sister. The second, younger one was called Belle.
Belle was called "Beauty", because she was beautyfull, and her name means beauty.

The father was a wise man, which terrified the population of the village.
At this time, knowledge was associated with sorcery
and witchcraft, which was something that was associated with evil.

One day, Belle was sent to town to buy some food to the house. Belle
leaved the house, Unaware of the adventure she was going to go in.....

Characters

So far, I don't have so many characters, but these are the ones I have so far.

Belle
The main character of this story. Belle is a smart, beautiful woman in her best year.
She is an outcast of any other in the village because of these reasons,
because wisdom is associated with witchcraft. She does not care about
what those other people, but dreams of one day to find a place where she and her family belong,
and can live in harmony.

The beast
Previously a beautiful prince living in a large, beautiful castle. After being turned into a beast, he has isolated himself in his grand castle, far away into the distance.
He has lost all hope to find someone who loves him for it he is, and
has lost all hope of the spell to be broken. One day, he meets the
person who can break the spell. He is a stubborn and even a little greedy.

Father
He is the father of Belle. A cheerful and wise man. He wrote many books,
and never leave his home, where he lives with his daughters. Because of this,
the local people got the idea that he is a master of witchcraft, and there have even
been afraid of him. He don't care about it though, and continue to write his books-

Marguerite
Older sister of Belle. She is a spoiled woman, and because of this has been nicknamed "little gem".
She is jealous of her sister's beauty, and hate Belle because of this.
She spends more time with the villagers than with her family,
and would rather be loved by them then her family.

Inspired

This game is basicly inspired by the fairy tale made by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve 1740. The basic background of the tale is in this story, but I wanted to make it a bit different compared to the main story. Also, for those who thinks this is a remake of the Disney movie, then Im afraid to make you sad. This isn't based of the movie, even if it's the best Disney movie of them all.

The game is going to be a puzzle/adventure game. That means no battles, no monsters, no final boss!. You need to think alot in this game to solve the different puzzles in the game. The game is going to be made in XP.

Recruitment

Basicly, Im going to need some help with this. I know the mapping and eventing, but Im going to need help with the music. I want the music in this game to be custom, and not RTP or something similar to that. Im also going to need help to sprite the sprites of the characters. The style of this game is going to be a more softer version of the RTP, because I think the RTP is to bright.

If you are interested to help, or have questions about this game, post them here. You could also PM me if you are interested.
What do you think of this idea?
