This thread made me so sad! :lol:Spoiler for:
why sad? :o
why are you sad?
why is pacman so awesome?
why is irock's hair so golden?
When I searched through the pictures I found my old ones and noticed how much weight I lost. :(

Is weight loss bad? I'm confused :-(
he could mean weight as in muscle.
You don't want to lose dem gains.
strike is right my weight was around 100kg and now like 90kg. (No clue how many lb) ;(i weigh around 90kg too, like 3kg above what i'm told is my ideal weight. of course, my body has a very minimalist approach to having muscle (i.e. i'm a fatty fatty boombatty). i dunno man, 90kg probably isn't much to be concerned about unless you're seven feet tall
I dunno how much of the muscles are gone but unfortunly they have been replaced by fat. :D Should be about 10kg+. I guess it is not important how much weight you have but how comfortable you feel with it. :pstrike is right my weight was around 100kg and now like 90kg. I really want to get back down to 185 or so. I managed it once with months of running but it fell by the wayside due to school. now it's due to working a lot. I don't feel like i'll ever have time or energy for it. It's kinda starting to worry me.
To be honest, I think everyone looks better with a little meat on their bones - both men and women. ;o
Personally, I like curvy women. Size 16 is plus size nowadays and I think that's bullshit. Hips and curves, yo. Hips and curves!
I think the problem with a lot of women and confidence is that they don't realize that a good chunk of men like curvy women. :B Growing up, they either feel fat or are told so by other women. .___.That's because we grow up seeing tons of this:
Agreed. While in summer I try to cut weight, I'm a fairly large individual and can never seem to drop below 210 lbs. (95kg) at my lightest ever, not counting when i was depressed and stopped eating altogether. Forgot about that... Currently I weigh 275 lbs. (125 kg) at 29% body fat. Ideal? No. But I can carry another firefighter in full gear out of a structure fire on my shoulder and compete in the ameteur sparring ring. Good enough for this old man.
For a lot of males, weight is equated to muscle mass. It doesn't always work out that way; for example, in tournament MMA (which I would be a fool to attempt at my age) I'd compete at super heavyweight class because of my weight alone. Since most competitors at my weight class are less than 10% body fat, it means they are much stronger than me, pound for pound, and probably in better cardiovascular health as well. Still, even though I'd probably get made into applesauce, it would be after my opponent second-guessed his decision to challenge me. Again, good enough for me.

This is pretty accurate for me. I've never been a tremendous fan of exceedingly thin women, i.e. your typical model. Curvier is generally better, though I think as a general rule, any body type can be beautiful if you're healthy.
Yeah, a lot of super skinny people get accused of anorexia, even if they eat a normal diet.People have accused me of being anorexic before x_x
Body shaming is dumb, no matter what size you are.
The morbidly obese people that insist nothing is wrong with them are dumb though. If you're too big to leave your bed, it's your fucking fault, not your "metabolism" or "genetics".
But actually, I also feel bad for skinny girls. ;9 They are also quite often a victim of the pursuit of the "perfect female body" - sometimes even more so than their non-skinny friends.Absolutely! My mom was tiny, always. She could eat me under the table and never gain a pound. And she struggled with her weight just as much as I do. I didn't mean to insinuate that they should only put the bigger women on magazine covers. I just mean that they should put ALL body types on them. Not just one :)

People who weigh too much don't ever seem happy to me.
I could say that working out makes me unhappy. But I know the benefits far outweigh the effort. Still, it's better to hit the gym than to hit the keyboard.
Awwww...you go, bluntsword! ^_^ Exercise can be fun, I guess it just depends on what works for you. Then again...I do know some people that don't like any type of exercise at all. :B
