Sample music error RPG maker 2000

I recently put RPG Maker 2000 on my old Windows 95 comp. It had many errors, and I managed to fix all of them except for one. I can't sample the music with RM2K. I can sample sound effects, but not the music. I know the way to sample the music while not in RM2K, but this takes too long. Could someone please help? Thanks a lot!

OMG install Windows XP!!!!!!!!!
Check your sound driver and update if necessary, btw install winamp 5

eh if u installl windows xp into an old 95 com it anit going to run it probebly dosent met the reqiurments for it and if it dosent it will crash all the time

ya i got winXP on the other comp. You should've seen that thing try to run Win2K... with 48 MB of Ram and a 4-GB hard drive, it wasn't pretty.
