Title: Making an RPG maker game playable from a browser
Post by: De Faalboot on April 19, 2012, 09:45:51 AM
I was wondering if it's possible to play an RPG maker game straight from a browser.

All the cases I've seen have been people making a game in a different program with rpg maker graphics.
If there's a way, you'd probably need another program or something. It's not something you could do with a script.

Uh, this might be something like what you want? I don't really know anything about it: http://rpgjs.com/ (http://rpgjs.com/)

I've also noticed that Stencyl happens to use RPG Maker style graphics for their RPG game example, so it's probably possible that people use that for making flash games that look like it's from RPG Maker.

well i check on the terms and condition and they said that they are not allowed to use those graphics outside of the program.

I said RPG Maker style, not the RTP. The generated content is free for use in anything.

Plus, you know, people generally tend to ignore those terms and conditions anyway.
