Hello World!

Look this picture. I want to put grass like this but when I do it, it all joins together.

How to put it like that?

EDIT: You can now download a map that uses the same technique for mapping.

I haven't reinstalled RPG Maker VX yet after formatting, so I can't take a look right now. I'm just posting to comment on:

EDIT: The new style of the forums is cool, I'm getting used to it.  =)
This is only temporary. RMRK exploded so Roph had to save it, but he decided to upgrade to SMF 2.0, and the forum theme isn't 2.0 ready yet.

After looking at it, I have no idea. They could have made the grass auto-tile into regular tiles.

It's gotta just be a custom tileset piece. I can't think of any other way to do that in VX, and you can clearly see some non-RTP tileset stuff in that screenshot.

I am sure they are not parallaxes or regular tiles. I have it non-encrypted.

Maybe I upload only that map for you to check it out?

EDIT: Now you can download it.
I really want to use grass like that.

Yeah to do stuff like that it's a little tedious, but easily doable. Roughly speaking, if you hold shift and right-click when you select a part of the map (you can drag to get more than one tile), then you can repaste that exact piece wherever and as much as you want by holding shift and left-clicking.

So, all you need to do is make each of the pieces you want individually, and copy and paste them into a group using that method.
