Title: Import Music/Pictures on RPG Maker 2003
Post by: Gearhead on October 03, 2006, 05:55:10 PM
I just upgraded from RPG Maker 2000 to RPG Maker 2003 and I have a quick question. How do I import music from my PC to the game I'm making? and is there only a certain type of file I can import? Thanks in advance.

*Edit*- also how do I import different pictues for for my game over screen and Game title screen and do they have to be a certain type of file, again thanks in advance.

Midis, MP3s and WAVs can all be used for music in rpg maker 2003. Go into Tools > Resource Manager, and import the music into the Music Folder.

Pictures have to be BMP/PNG files of 256 colours. It's very simple to manipulate pictures if you're good with image editing programs.

Same procedure as the above, only difference is that you need to put them in the Title Screen and Game Over Screen Folders. Also, the size of them needs to be the same as 2000.
