Hey, all! Great to see the forums back.
My Web site (http://www.angelfire.com/mech/rhetoric) has recently undergone a massive art update. Just thought I'd let my loyal fans know.
A few people who frequent the IRC chat already know this, though.
If you have any comments (in general or for specific pieces), you know I'd love to hear it. Sharing is caring.
Peace! ~Yossy~

Yes, but they haven't taught me anything I didn't already know. Everything I put on my site is 100% developed by me.
Thanks for your support, everyone! @Dante: Great seeing you using a Riviera avatar again <3

haha, thanks. the last one i used was...the blue angel, i belive.
yeah, well, how long have you been drawing manga? im hoping that after a while ill develop and get good like you.

I hope so too. I love her drawings. They are just so....good! I want to draw like that T.T lol. But...I suppose I just can't get that way, I have to practice...more and more...and more.

Awesome work as always, Yossy. It feels as if I should say more, but that pretty much says it all in that one sentence, heh. ;)

The blue angel would be Malice, I believe. Funny how Malice could easily have been mistaken for a male character, and Ledah could just as easily been mistaken for a female character. Why is he wearing a frilly red dress, anyway?
Anyway, I've been drawing "manga" since elementary school, and it all dates back to my frighteningly unhealthy Sailor Moon obsession. There isn't a lot of Japanese stuff I like now (except video games!), but my old art styles continue to show through. In the Miscellaneous category are many works that do not pertain to anime, and they're some of my favorites.

They are very good... I like the ones you have coloured towards the bottom of the Gallary (Faereality)... I have passed comments on your Art before... and for an 18 year old your fantastic...
This one (Below)... the arms look too short... The lower fore arm is about the length of the upper arm in life, the lower looks shorter by a fair bit in your pic... if in life you out stretch your arms and measure from end to end it should measure approx your height...

This one (Below) The Thumb is too big or the other fingures are two small... and the joits are not pronounced....

This one (Below) Is perfect...

This one (Below) I think you rushed it.... your other are SOOOOO much better... His Lower arm's are too small and it looks flat...

This one (Below) is my Fav... it has movent, every thing is in the correct proportions.... Very good picture... and way better than I could do at your age...

This one (Below)... Great... Can't see nothing out of place...

From looking at your art.... I would say you dislike drawing Arms, Wrists, Hands and Feet... Hands are the hardest things to draw...
I would suggest doing sketches of your own hands in lots of different positions until you get them looking OK... then move onto looking at joints in arms and wrists... at the mo your arms have no real shape...
May be thats the style your going for... But in most of your best bits of art in my opinion are those that you have hidden the arms... and I think your trying to get around having to do them... and thats a shame... as your imagination and your style is spot on... I ike the attention to detail and the faces have character.... VERY GOOD....
I am not preaching or knocking your work, just giving some pointers... I used to be a Tattooist and drew all the time and I had loads of constructive Crit back then... it really does help....

Haha, LandofShadows, I always look forward to your comments on my art. You're the only person brave enough to criticise me, and I really appreciate it! The really hilrious thing about your comments on my Faereality pics is that the ones you say are "perfect" were the ones I did at home, and the ones that need work were those that I did during school. It's nice to know that you're interested in those characters, though, because I am very close to releasing a demo of Faereality. Lucky you all~

I like those as you designed them your self... most muppets can copy other peoples work... But those are yours... and you have skill in Character Design... they are very good and each is unique... Hows your hand now ? (You had some sort of Cramp like thing that stopped you using it fully if I remember correctly)
