RMRK is retiring.
Registration is disabled. The site will remain online, but eventually become a read-only archive. More information.

RMRK.net has nothing to do with Blockchains, Cryptocurrency or NFTs. We have been around since the early 2000s, but there is a new group using the RMRK name that deals with those things. We have nothing to do with them.
NFTs are a scam, and if somebody is trying to persuade you to buy or invest in crypto/blockchain/NFT content, please turn them down and save your money. See this video for more information.

A comment is just that: a comment. It's not actually used in the game at all for any maker, it's just an inside note for you or someone to use to perhaps keep track of what's what, to "comment" on something in your event.

It's just for you to keep notes inside of your events so you don't get lost when building them. Also if you make event systems or tutorials, it helps to put them in there when sending the systems or tutorials to others so that they understand the event as well.

Also, a label is used as a place marker within an event, so that you can immediately jump to that point if you want to. Useful for skipping over sections of code if they aren't needed at the moment or for going back and redoing something.
