Please make a backup of your scripts before you add/edit/delete any scripts from your game. To do this simply go into your projects data folder and copy the 'Scripts.rxdata' file. I suggest you do this before you edit any of your games scripts just a as a precautionary.

Thanks, crank. I guess I should remind the users next time.
-
Yea...I prolly shoulda said something earlier. Thanx for pointing that out crankeye.
-
lol.. glad i test all my scrips in a test game before adding them to my real game...
-
If only i knew i could do that. I had to start my project over 4 times because of some messed up scripts. Thanx a lot! :D
-
dude your replying to a topic thats almost a year old  .
-
wats a script?? i see everyone talk bout 'em, but i dunno wat they are
-
Rpg Maker XP uses a Scripting Language called Ruby. It uses commands known as scripts to change many features.
-
ahhh, like wat of freatures or commands it changes? do u mean like Event Commands, thangs like that?
-
Its actually commands like HTML commands and BB code commands and of the sort.
-
they can change the setout of the menu or make a new battle system like the one in final fantasy
-
For those who have Rpg Maker 2003, the battle system he's referring to is the default one.
-
Aaa thank for remind that to me :D
-
You all know you dont need to back up your scripts? Cause RMXP loads all the default scripts when you choose: "New Project" Its a simple matter of "Copy & Paste"
-
i hate to post on this but there are scripts that go to multiple spots so if you "copy and paste" the original then it could mess with another script that you put in then you have to restart...
