i need a blank chara that is a grid showing the seperate framed for characters

A template like that would depend on the size of the sprite you're trying to use.

well i need one so i can make weapon sprites for my game, for my Zelda like shop system

Do you use photoshop?

Calculate how big your graphic is and do some math to get the canvas or mat size.

Go into your ->edit->preferences and select the grid size and the spacing.

Turn on the grid/snap (I think this is view->show extras)(and ->snap is right below it)

and bam!  you have a grid!  and don't tell me this is too hard......
