But it still shouldn't work without the RTP?
put the RTP files in your game's folders ::)
-
Is there a way for VX games to work without the RTP?
i.e. you don't use any resources that come with VX...?
-
it's called custom resources
import them ::)
-
I know, and if you only use custom resources...you don't need the rtp?

lol im not sure about that
-
I believe it was like that for xp, but no one to my knowledge has ONLY used custom resources
-
as long as the .dll files are included, if all the files are custom, you don't need the RTP......

what dll files? ;D

System32
what do they do...?
make the RGSS Player work.
-
Making a 'gamedisk' solves it.
-
'gamedisk'?
-
RMVX doesn't exactly have the gamedisk option. Compress game data
File-> Compress game data
thats what i think, i never used it =D
Also, how the hell can you call yourself a RM maker if you dunno what a gamedisk is.
-
Define gamedisk and I'll tell you if I know what it is :/

Compressed Game Data, a feature present in RMXP.
RMVX as well.

you've released a "game" and yet you don't know what a gamedisk is.
lovely.
:facepalm:
-
so its just the compressed data option?
I know that...
