I believe it was like that for xp, but no one to my knowledge has ONLY used custom resources

as long as the .dll files are included, if all the files are custom, you don't need the RTP......

RMVX doesn't exactly have  the gamedisk option. Compress game data
File-> Compress game data


thats what i think, i never used it =D
Also, how the hell can you call yourself a RM maker if you dunno what a gamedisk is.

Compressed Game Data, a feature present in RMXP.
