I'm not using RMRK4 right now, but when I use it I keep it visible unless I'm viewing a profile, because my monitor is a sad little tiny 1024x768, so the sidebar covers things up when I'm looking at profiles.

Always visible. I don't find it intrusive.

The sidebar is the best new feature of 4. I always have it up.

I've never felt the need to close it, except a couple of times when i'm just bored.

It's newer than the Dark Theme, which is what I used up until now. Don't you have a building to be flying a plane into?
