I'm sorta the same as Gilgamesh.  I'm definitely an old-school gamer.  I miss the days when games were dependent upon their entertainment factor, instead of the dependence on shiny graphics and big explosions that you see nowadays.

All the time, I find myself craving:
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Dragon Warrior 3
Shining Force 2
Mega Man 2, 4, 5, 6
Mega Man X, X2, X3, X5
Phantasy Star 2
Mischief Makers
Ogre Battle 64
Final Fantasy 4, 6, Mystic Quest
Magi-Nation
Chrono Trigger
Street Fighter 2 (the first one! XD)
Kid Icarus
Earth Bound
Sailor Moon: Another Story (no laughing!)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles in Time (stop laughing!)
Pok

My friend and I frequent a local video game store where we purchase vintage video games... then we go to my house and beat the game in usually a week or so and then we repeat.

Recent games:
Kirby all stars (SNES)
Sonic 2 (sega)
Sonic 3 (sega)
Sonic Spinball (sega)
Bomberman (N64)
Diddy kong racing (N64)

I remember renting Vectorman 2, but I don't remember anything about it.

I remember the first Vectorman having all these insane cheats.  Like, you could freeze the screen and move through walls and stuff.  But, if you cleared the game using any of the cheats, the ending of the game only shows a screen that says "Nice job!  Next time, try not to cheat!"  It made me feel so guilty.  To this day, I have no idea what the real ending is.

Without using any cheats, I've only made it to about level 3 or 4.  It sucks cause there's no way to save your progress.  Some of the "boss battles" against the main badguy dude are brutal.

Haha, well the Vectorman I'm talking about is the one I'm familiar with from when I was a wee little lass.  No save states for that~
But, yes, after talking about it for all this time, I am increasingly becoming fond of the idea of downloding Vectorman.  Even though I still have it on console.

Thank you, I guess.   ::)

I grew up on 2D games so I just got used to them. I like 3D but I miss the games like:
-Secret of mana
-Final Fantasy 3
-Super Mario RPG
-Chrono trigger

Thats the main reason I like RPG maker so much is because it's 2d  :D
*Goes to play only NES games*

Don't roll your eyes at me, missy!

But the good news is, it'll be legal for you to have the ROM since you own the actual game. Like that really matters though.

Not enough room.  Think about all of the massive additions in Wild World that weren't in the GCN version.  The lack of NES games was a small price to pay for the larger house size, more characters, larger museum, and 3x more furniture.

The great thing about ZSNES is that you can switch the different layers on/off.  Hit a few keys and BAM the sprite layer is turned off, making chipset ripping like a dream.  Also works vice-versa... switch off the background layers and you're left with sprites, unobstructed.  ZSNES also gives you the option of slowing the game way down, making it easy to rip battle animations and the like.
