Someone who has played it, care to explain? I read a little about it, and it seems fun, but that's how most games start for me lolz...

Terraria is finished, and recieves no more updates, unless something changed after I stopped playing. Starbound is essentially a massive expansion pack and rehaul of terraria, with a lot of room for mods, new content, and a level generator that ensures you never run out of new territory to explore.
