Project of the Month. While there were a number of reasons for retiring that system, it was never for a lack of excellent projects; RMRK has been around since RM2k3 and has a long history of being home to some of the most distingushed and talented amateur game designers in the RM World. It is once again time to shine a light on the talent of these individuals by recognizing, celebrating, and encouraging these game makers, while at the same time giving beginners example projects to which they can aspire. For these reasons, I present the new

Without further ado, the candidates for Project of the Season 2010 are:
Eternal Grace, by

An RPG with tons of custom resources, the story revolves around an organization named SOFRA and their attempts to rejuvenate a dying world. See the topic for more details and to play the demo.
Fairytale, by

An RPG with dark themes and a focus on gameplay, Fairytale follows the story of a young woman attempting to escape from her wicked granduncle. Check out the topic to see the gorgeous screenshots and for more details about the game.
Fall of the Living: First Outbreak, by
Chainsaw Melody
Set in the beginning of a Zombie Apocalypse, this game is a survival horror with elements of the Action, Adventure, and RPG genres. It features an advanced ABS and impressive custom resources. Check out the topic for more details.
Planeswalker, by
NAMKCOR
Created in one week for the GIAW competition (which it won), this game delivers a clever storyline with a gorgeous atmosphere and a number of interesting and unique features. Check out the topic to play the full game.
World's Dawn, by

This is a simulation game which "concentrates on aesthetic imagination, addictive, open-ended gameplay, and innovation through dozens of original evented systems." It features amazing custom artwork and bears some gameplay similarity to series such as Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing.
