Hello everybody!

Is there perhaps anyone out there that could make me tutorial on how
to create a good character from a template, like this one:

If you don't want to teach me, could you maybe tell me wich program you use when you make your own charas, if you make your own, of course.

Thanks in advance!

the girls call it dollies or something like that...
simply color it.
want to make pants? put a line where the pants start and end and then fill it up with color

and then you need to make it look good, it's a painting skill thing.. of course every time ull do a new one it will look better, like everything else..

simply use a nice program called "paint"
holy shit my sig was big!

my first tutorial =)
I use paintshop Pro BTW
okay ill give you a step by step...
__________________________________
first change the backround color, then color your pants, use darker shades for the  parts where the skin is shadedleaves space for the shoes, so far it should look like so...

________________________________________
Now create the outline of the shirt and shade in a belt...

__________________________________________
now shade in the shirt

_____________________________________________
We dont him shoeless now do we?

____________________________________________________
now lets give him some gloves

_________________________________________________________________
So far we should have...
-changed the backround color
-created the outline for the pants
-shaded in the pants accordingly to how the skin is shaded
-added a belt
-created the outline for the shirt
-shaded in accordingly
-added shoes
-added gloves
____________________________________
after we have done the following we should ask ourselves
-does the character look good so far?
-should i add accsessories?
before we continue...
now all that is left is the tedious task of creating the rest of the character which can take up to a month if youre lazy like me...

er....you click the resource manager button and when it asks you what you want to import/export you click on charsets then click import. Then go to the file you saved the charset in and click it twice 8) h yeah so cool...

Thank you so much everyone!

I  used paint with this one, believe it or not.

And LinkaN, to make the backround transperent, just import the char file
to your game, and right/left click on the backround.

Wish me Luck. I'm going to change the skin color. I am armed with Photo shop elements and hope of making a good edit. By the way I think the base should be bald for easier hair creation, but this'll do. And nice edit, doggen.
