Last night I left the computer running downloading some stuff, and while I was sleeping the power went off. I awoke to find my computer off, (unknown of the power going off) and notice there was no sound at all. I check if the volume was muted, I trouble shoot and check the driver, all aparently seem fine, but there's no sound at all, I simply restarted it, and there's still no sound. (Later I learn that the power went off). I searched a little bit, and followed some instructions, troubleshooting it again, and disconnecting the sound driver, and I still get nothing.

Anyone has an idea how to fix this?

----

I suspect something bad happened to the Sound Driver . . . and I don't know what it could be .__. Help please?

Make sure that onboard audio isn't disabled in the BIOS? That fixed my problem when my sound wasn't working.

It's simple, your computer has been healed.

Well, I wish it would've stayed that way, I turned her off when I went to a friend's house, now she has no sound again. She seem to have been healed temporary. D:

Computers are so wonderfully weird.
