RMRK is retiring.
Registration is disabled. The site will remain online, but eventually become a read-only archive. More information.

RMRK.net has nothing to do with Blockchains, Cryptocurrency or NFTs. We have been around since the early 2000s, but there is a new group using the RMRK name that deals with those things. We have nothing to do with them.
NFTs are a scam, and if somebody is trying to persuade you to buy or invest in crypto/blockchain/NFT content, please turn them down and save your money. See this video for more information.

So as some of you may have noticed, RMRK registration now requires an invitation key.

Why? Being an old forum, running a popular forum system (SMF), means RMRK automatically gets targeted by spambots. They are relentless, and they never give up. Registration questions must be easy enough to figure out, and captchas can be guessed easily enough (after all, you have unlimited tries).

How? Any current member can generate an invitation key by clicking "invites" at the top of any forum page. From there, they can generate a key and give it to anyone who wants to register.

So if you see someone wanting to register, usually in IRC, you can easily make a key for them and let a real human through, while spambots fail  :yuyu:

To any guests who are looking to register, just Go to the chat (you don't need an account) and someone should get you a key. If not, try again a little later  :aco:
