It sounds like they've matured to me. I'm not sure why, because they weren't really writing "immature" music to begin with. This just sounds more jazz-fusion to me, I guess.

I like it, a lot. A lot of very interesting, amazing ideas. So many key changes and unique chord progressions. I can't even follow it that easily, and I love it. I'm glad they amped up the guitars a bit. Without that little bit of distortion in the guitars, it gets dangerously close to The Weather Channel music, in the beginning.

Fantastic songwriting, marvelous producing. The brass section is fantastic, and there's something so damn sexy about the new bass guitar sound.
