(This game is both Fragile Hearts 1 and 2. Yes, two full projects in one, and both are COMPLETE!)

“Fragile Hearts 2: Shattered Dreams” is the official title. This game is a direct sequel to the original Fragile Hearts, and players are able to carry over their saved games from Fragile Hearts 1 for special character appearances and multiple routes. Sprites, environments, and battles are visually more appealing, and the rest… is pretty much the same awesome craziness you should expect from an FH game! 8 new episodes tell the complete tale of Fragile Hearts 2.

Spoiler for PLOT:
When an angel and a demon have inappropriate relations with one another, the truce between heaven and hell is broken and an evil god is summoned upon the world of the mortals. Meanwhile, a hegemonic federation has surfaced and has banned the use of magic throughout the world. Our heroes from the previous game may be the only ones able to stop these horrible injustices from happening! Unfortunately, they’ve retired and are unwilling to help.

Join a new batch of zany characters as they combine forces to overthrow the meddling federation and destroy the evil war god. You’ll also meet many new and peculiar characters along the way, such as Kozoh, a defective robot that steals shit; Yaga, an unsuccessful prostitute; Palmer, a talking dog (and Gulliver’s rival); and Oggy, a citizen of the walking dead persuasion.

Spoiler for PROTAGONISTS:
Tobin – A transvestite who is destined to save the world. Afraid of weapons and hates violence.
Maddy- The younger sister of Haddy. Kicked out of the Witches academy for incompetence.
Bazur- A lost demon of the underworld with no way back home.
Meera- A fallen angel. Banished from heaven for having certain relations with a demon.
Others- And of course, we can't leave out our heroes from the previous game!

Spoiler for FEATURES:
-FH:SD includes the entire first game (exclusive v.1.4 extended cut). Save files from FH1 can be carried over.
-Differing story routes, a total of 8 playable characters are possible.
-Revamped Battle system
-8 directional movement
-New graphics and portraits

As well, it is possible for Maddy to acquire different summons in the game if a certain route has been chosen (depends on how the first game ended, or if you even played it).

Tobin can double attack if his HP is between 0 and 30%.
Tobin may also wield Why-Caliber if a a certain route has been chosen (depends on how the first game ended, or if you even played it).

A bonus character, and the most powerful one in the game. Only available if a certain route has been chosen (depends on how the first game ended, or if you even played it).

3) Walkthrough

EPISODE 1- The Cat, the Witch, and the War Troops

1- Academy
- Go to the North end of the academy and search one of the two maps (look like posters) on the wall (one on East end, one on West).
- The library is the Northeastern-most classroom. Go to the Northeastern-most shelf and press action button.
- Return to main room and watch cutscene, then go to the Western-most classroom and talk to Professor Wall.
- Leave Academy, explore Boret and all of its houses and shops. Get whatever you think you’ll need with whatever money you have.
- Go to the items shop and talk to the person at the counter.
- Return to Academy and visit main room.
- After cutscene, leave academy and town of Boret.

2- Swamp
- The swamp area is fairly straight forward. Head down as far South as you can to exit. Anywhere the path leads elsewhere, there will usually be a treasure there to open, so check thoroughly. You won’t get lost. Unless you’re stupid.
- Head all the way back you came from all the way to the Academy.

3- Hostages
- Once inside the Academy, head to the first classroom to the West and examine the bookshelf to the West.
- Go to the small passageway at the North point of the Academy. Get the loot, and return to the hostage area to fight with the boss captain. If you survive, you’ve beat episode 1!

EPISODE 2- A Hero Is Born Every Minute

1- Tefta
- Examine all shops and buy what you need to with what you can.
- Attempt to enter Doctor’s house (North house), stopped by woman.
- Go up the planks to where the treehouses are, and go as far East as possible. When you are adjacent to the little girl across the water, press enter button.
- Return to Doctor’s house. Talk to receptionist, then go upstairs.
- When ready, head to the Southeastern point of the map and talk to the NPC.

2- Forest
- On the first map, go as far South as possible.
- Do the same for the second and third maps.

EPISODE 3- Love is Blind. Possibly Deaf and Dumb.

1- Gamba
- Talk to EVERYONE.
- If you are still stuck, talk to the grey haired idiot.
- Go to weapons shop. Talk to shopkeeper FROM BEHIND THE DESK.
- Go to Mayor’s house (grey one). Watch cutscene.
- There is now a new NPC around. Find him and talk to him.
- Buy what you need to and leave Gamba.
- Enter Volcano on world map.

2- Volcano
Okay, here’s a quick guide through:
- South stairs up
- Far east stairs down

EPISODE 4- A Sad Attempt At Cohesion

1- Prison
- To start off, there are four cells along the top of the prison, and 4 cells below. Now you know the layout.
- Travel along the Southern walls to cell 3 and talk to Meera. You can fight guards now.
- Talk to Tobin in cell 4 (Top).
- Return to Meera and free her from the FRONT DOOR of her cell.
- Fight guards to obtain the keys. The ones who hold them are the ones furthest to the West. Look in the pics section of the gamepage for a visual image of them.
- Do the same for Tobin as you did for Meera.
- Now free Bazur (cell four along bottom wall).
- Return to Maddy and free her (again, front of cell).
- Exit prison at Northern doors.

SPOILERS
SPOILERS

1a- Lead or disband army.

2a. Let Meera Try – leads to Meera’s death.
2b. Ignore Meera – Boss fight, leads to Bazur’s death.

3a. Give in- Gulliver changes back to human.
3b. Compromise- Gulliver turns into half-beast.

4a. Son or daughter – determines protagonist in third game.

P.S. Whether or not Haddy is head witch and whether or not Midard is dead will also carry over into the third game (5a/b and 6a/b respectively).

Spoiler for SAVEFILE CARRYOVER INFO:
1) Carryover explanation
2) What things carry over?
3) What doesn't carry over?
4) Story Changes (SPOILERS)
5) Pre-existing Save Files

1) Carryover explanation

Fragile Hearts SD is made in the same folder (project) as the original game. Therefore, it allows players to carry over their saved data from the first game into the second. This page serves as a list of the things that will and won't be carried over if players choose to use their savefiles.

2) What things carry over?

i- Players will be able to keep all items in their inventory. While new characters in Fragile Hearts SD cannot equip items from the first game, they can still sell them for extra money at the beginning of the game.

ii- Held money will not be decreased.

iii- Story changes (see below)

iv- Environment changes (see below)

3) What won't carry over?

Character levels, unfortunately, cannot be carried over from the first game. This is due to the fact that the creator opted for new graphics, thus new character profiles needed to be made so that character battle graphics could be updated. As such, recruitable party members from the first game will have set levels, ranging from 10-14.

4) Story Changes

SPOILERS

There are 3 branches at the end of FH1 that drastically change the situation of the characters in the game. This affects both plot details and environments. The branches are as follows:

1A- Midard died. You cannot recruit him to your party in Fragile Hearts SD.
1B- Midard survived. If you find him, you may perform the recruitment side quest, thus allowing him entry into your party.

2A- Haddy became the High Witch. You will not be able to recruit her to your party, but having her in a position of power will be of great benefit to you as you will gain access to better resources.
2B- Haddy did not become the High Witch. You may find and recruit her if you perform the recruitment side quest.

3A- Fergus stayed with Haddy. Fergus is a happy knight, training an army of new recruits. You can recruit him without performing a recruitment side quest. He and Haddy are also a couple.
3B- Fergus left Haddy. He is miserable. He wants to be with Haddy, and he needs you to help him woo her. Performing this side quest will allow you to recruit him to your party.

The plot changes also bring about environmental changes to the game. For instance, the High Witch's castle will look drastically different if Haddy is not the High Witch, and different sprites will be working there. As well, Fergus' courtyard for training will not be there if he did not decide to stay with Haddy at the end of the first game.

5) Pre-existing Save Files

I was nice enough to leave a couple save files for those who want to see the opposite outcomes of the choices.

File 1 choices that were made were: Haddy is the head witch, Midard dies, Fergus and Haddy are together.

File 2 choices that were made were: Haddy is not the head witch, Midard is alive, Fergus leaves to go out on his own.

File 3 is at the end of the game, right before the final battle, so you can make any combo of choices you want but you'll have to play through the final boss.
