I've been really caught up in this. Its basically a viral marketing ARG (Alternate Reality Game) from Microsoft, promoting the new Vista OS. I have been a fan of ARGs for a long time, and this is a good one. Basically, there are 4 weeks of puzzles. Each has a real world portion, and an online portion. A video is shown at a location, giving clues needed to solve puzzles, and then you go to the site and complete them for points. Don't worry if you miss the event, because the video is also shown on the website. There are a number of decent prizes, and the grand prize is a trip to see the ultimate vista: outer space. Yes, thats right, you get to go into space. There is also a hidden meta-puzzle throughout the game, and the prize for that is having your name emblazoned on the new AMD microchip. Its pretty fun, but some of the puzzles are extremely difficult, and require a lot of lateral thinking. If you are going to sign up, use my email as a reference: holkeyesf@yahoo.com. Hurry though, each puzzle section lasts only a week.
