Post by: Malson on November 04, 2006, 11:23:06 PM: Yes, for here I have compiled a brilliant story, filled with action, drama, and an ending that will truly bring you to tears! (Whether these are tears of sadness or tears of joy is up to you.) Now, let's start from the beginning!

One fateful day, on September 24, 2006, a man named Naphe joined. He was a generous guy, and a proud one too. Eventually, though, that pride would go to his head and turn the young man insane.

From this topic we can see that the young man was eager to help those around him, and offer assistance to people who needed it. It could be argued that in doing so he was only showing how much smarter he is than everyone else to have to help them. However, there's no way to conclude such a claim, and so debate may still continue over it.

Here is another topic that shows Naphe helping a RPG maker in need. However, he only helps him so far, and when Bloods The Hedgehog asks for Naphe to be more specific, he fails to respond. From this we can conclude that Naphe may very well have just been feeding Bloods bullshit, to make it seem like he was smart enough to be able to help. While not a serious problem in itself, we will see that later in the legacy, he will only get worse and worse.

In this topic, Naphe shows that his need to be accepted as a genius drives him further and further. He challenges Blizzard on the best method to answer Marlune's question, claiming that tutorialistic and overly complex instructions are best. Blizzard prefers to give simple and to-the-point instructions. Which is more valuable? You decide.

This is one of Naphe's better responses. He helps out Bloods yet again, and although he claims that he's "alway's right, it's just that way," he did help out all the same. However, this is simply the calm before the storm.

And here we are! This was Naphe's official Aerion Online topic, before he moved it to the Trash. In it, he made his forum-famous claim about how he had made graphics so good no computer could run them. He also claimed he had ties to Square Enix, and was given this professional opinion by them. Some members, such as GilgameshRO, automatically saw this as a load of bull. Others, such as Blizzard, either gave him the benefit of the doubt or believed it entirely. This topic would be alluded to many times in later days.

In Blizzard's topic for Chaos Project: Nemesis' Wrath(TM), Naphe gives Blizzard a long drawn out warning about how he is required by law to give credit to everyone he ripped sprites from. Again, GilgameshRO chimes in, this time informing Naphe of how unnecessary his comments were. Naphe responds to this by saying "I'm just pointing it out, and you shouldn't go about harrassing someone for a simple "opinion", you might not know what will happen." Thus begins his laundry lists of phony, ridiculous threats.

Naphe opens his official Scrap Shop! This compilation of resources includes recolored RTP sprites, and large pictures of the graphics he claimed were playable on his old Aerion Online game. He was saved from being called out in this topic, but never fear! You'll see plenty more action as the legacy continues.

Naphe starts this one off with a bang by posting fake pictures of what he claimed to be the beta version of RPG Maker Vista, but were in fact screenshots of RPG Maker 3 for PS2. Naphe then begins to impress his superiority upon the forums by claiming to know more about computers than anyone could ever hope to comprehend. It was at this point that the general community started to express how they disliked Naphe's ego.

A great topic! One of Arlen's greatest. It's quite spamful, but this is the climax of the story, and it can't be missed. It contains not only the mocking, the cursing, the crying, the screaming, the whining, and the incredibly stupid posts, but it also contains some of the wisest and most thoughtful comments ever seen on Crankeye. No words can describe what you're about to read.

Eventually, the young boy, tormented by many and praised by few, finally left the forums. Was his torment worth it? Was his apparent lack of respect well-deserved? Should he be given another chance at such a glorious forum? For that is the whole point of this topic. You've been told by many about how ridiculous and crazy Naphe was. And despite my satirical comments, I made this so you can form your own opinions about the kind of guy Naphe was. Although he was quite full of himself, he helped a lot of newcomers out with scripting and eventing. A lot of people here are indebted to him in one way or another. So, do you feel Naphe's treatment was undeserved, or do you feel it was unfair?

You don't understand. You can't post on the TabIt forums without buying TabIt, because when you register for the forums it asks you for your TabIt registration code. If you downloaded an illegal copy, there's a 99% chance one of the many, many other people that downloaded that pirated copy already tried registering with that registration code. So you're shit out of luck.

And the douchebaggery at TabIt isn't musical at all, it's just douchebaggery in general. Most people there only know a minimal amount of theory, and the people that know a lot are actually the nice ones.

(Because the pirated program doesn't require an activation code. You download a full version from the site after you enter your code on the website, so any pirated copy you find won't need a code, meaning the only thing left that you would need a code for is getting on the forums, and, yeah.)

Anyway this concludes my post, but I must resolve to saying that I'm deeply sorry that I didn't clarify these matters earlier. I hadn't had the time to really put in a healthy post about the circumstances, or go into detail about critique on the drawings. Though I was also under the impression that they would be as explicitly detailed as the slime image which was on a borderline with my minimal expectations. So in conclusion if you can manage to revise or recreation the current images that I would be more than willing to hire a CG artist to color detail the images and begin attaching them to the cards so that we may begin selling them at a more illusive and immediate time.

Crankeye forum members, it is imperative that you do NOT go to his forum and harass him. We'd only be lowering ourselves to his level. Be the better internet people and mock him from THIS forum.

As far as I know, many schools in Japan teach English as a second language, and it's mandatory. Kinda like how a second language is mandatory in most American schools, except you get to choose which language here in America.

But beyond that, I'm sure a sorta-big videogame company like CyberConnect (lol they're no Nintendo or Square-Enix) would have some translators or bi-lingual people there.

I did hear about him a lot from my brother arrowone though. Yeah, he really is arrogant.
