I'll post more info as the time draws nearer, but soon, probably at the end of this month, RMRK will be packing up and moving to another server.
As a lot of stuff behind the scenes is tied into this server (DNS, nameservers etc) downtime is unavoidable, so there will be a bumpy few days during the move. I'll try to postpone the bumpiest parts right to the very end of the month so as not to interfere with GIAW, but no promises :drsword:
RMRK has lived on its current server since 2006, for which I've paid around $6,000 over the years. The provider no longer represents good value in my opinion though, especially with the decline in activity and my greater experience with nerdy server stuff. I don't need 24/7 phone support that I never use. I'll save $600+ a year after the move. RMRK isn't going to disappear anytime soon. :)
Also while I'm announcing stuff, SMF Version 2.1 is approaching a stable release. This is a major update to the software that powers this forum, and breaks mod/theme compatibility. Expect a new RMRK design along with the eventual upgrade to 2.1 :)

Optimal line length. I don't think there's a consensus on how long lines should be, but 200+ characters is a bit much.

Well if you're reading this, you're seeing RMRK on its new server. Seems speedy to me, what do you guys think?
Also (after it spends 4 years generating the index) search should be up and running properly again soon :sdog:

Several of the smilies aren't working. ;9 I tried to add them again as new smilies and it says this:
