Your game def deserved to place well. o.o I know it sounds like we poked a bit of fun at it, but we do that with every game. :V The mapping was neat, the characters were great, the story seems promising, and the game all-around is pretty professional. I especially liked the way you set up cutscenes and events - how every character sits in their own spot (instead of lining up caterpillar style). You set up a great environment! :-)

Sadly, my lagging computer caused me to lose my patience at times. :mad: I was angry at the lag, not at the game. :-)

I don't know where the "bluntswag" thing came from but it kinda stuck! B) I think boe came up with it or something (actually I'm pretty sure he did). :V

@Neko - at least you sound female! :V ;9

I left the skype whatever in the corner of the screen, so it would show who's talking. :-)

yuyu (me): slightly lower-pitched female voice and also the one playing the games and recording them (won't show my name in the corner of the screen as I talk because it's recording from my computer screen)
Malson: lower-pitched Male voice ("Chris Malson" in the corner of the screen)
boe: somewhat quiet male voice ("Jesse" in the corner of the screen)
NekoBucket: the somewhat higher-pitched female voice ("Kenni" in the corner of the screen)

In the first video, Malson voiced the blonde hero, I voiced the pink-haired girl, Kenni voiced the blonde girl, and boe voiced the red-haired guy. ;o Malson also did many of the various voices because he was so awesome at it (such as the head mistress). B)

Okay, so we did start on Farmyard Chronicles, but one of our hosts had to go to bed, so we intend to finish that one up tomorrow. :-)

Yeah, I know they're rams. Still wanted to call them sheep because it sounds cuter. Aaaaaand the definition of a ram is: "a male sheep." Or, if you want to get technical: "An uncastrated male sheep." So they're still sheep! :)

Haha. Well, thank you. It's really fun to hear you guys having so much fun playing it! And it's nice to get positive feedback after releasing a bugged version to the judges with very little of the content accessible.

It is fun to see your game reviewed! That being said, I'm enjoying seeing the other games too. It's a great way for us to support each other. Thanks to GIAW Video Team Alpha! :-)

To clarify, Yuyu, there is no cooldown for the dash or any other ability. But sometimes the input function in RM2K goes screwy. To fix it, just push a directional button then try again. Also, in order to speed up the video review, I'll tell you that you missed an important item that may take you awhile to find. I can tell you where it is if you like... If not, then exploration is part of the fun! It's your call. :)

I don't mind either way! :-) Your game is easily one of the more fun RPG Maker Games out there, but I've already killed 20 minutes of video time that I'm trying to cut down. I can cut out the exploration parts when I edit the videos, but if you're up for it, feel free to send the secret to me via pm! ;o

Also, trying to add more captions to keep the videos lively. :V

And now they can! The game is 100% complete. Even the version yuyu is playing is maybe about 3% incomplete. If you're keen on getting all four endings, yuyu and team, then upgrade to this final release. ;-)

Okay, I'm using that version now! ;)

We posted part 2 of Farmyard Chronicles, but were on a bit of a time crunch today as well. Sadly, we couldn't get all the way through it this time, either. ;9 We're still deciding on if we want to do a part 3 soon or get to it later and move on to other games. Although this game is pretty darn fun, I've been spending a lot of time on it. :V

I haven't watched the video yet, but if you switched versions mid save, then the save menu display will not work correctly. It is supposed to display how many animals you've returned and how many powers you have purchased. And it does work correctly if you start a new game :-) But yours will be all jacked up!

:V It's a pretty silly video this time around! Still easily one of the best games I've played, despite my rage fit at the end of the video. Next time I give this game a go, I'll try to start a new game and go back through quickly. ;)

Nooo! What a horrible glitch.

I fixed it and you can get the fixed version from the same link.

The problem was pressing the escape key to exit the menu. I'd love to see more video, but I know you have other games to get to too!

There probably will be sometime, but we went ahead and moved on to other games for now. We're having a ton of fun doing these silly reviews, so I don't doubt that we'll get back to it! ;)

We just completed two more reviews and will have the videos up tonight! :-) It was taking a bit for us to get the files for some of the games we planned on doing, so we went ahead got ours out of the way (that sounds like cheating ;9). Neko played "Wyvern" and I played "Melody's Quest". ;] We decided it would be easier to get ours out of the way early because they were quick and we already knew what to do, so we could easily get both done.

Agreed! ;_; I want to start to do more challenges and contests. Maybe not quite as big as GIAW, but just for fun and personal enrichment! :)

I think the best part is having judges review and score your games, too. ;_;

Yours was next on the list, actually! B) We were going to review it already, but one of our hosts was away and we want her to join us for that one. We did review some others that I haven't posted yet, though. I'm thinking of redoing one because I feel like we could have done a lot better on the video (it was a short game anyways). There was only two of us that time, and I was really lazy and tired while playing it. :V

I've also been pretty busy with school and haven't quite had time to get around to them lately. ;9

Now its my fault for the delays ;_; been sick and started up work at my new job, so my availability for this has been cut down a bit D:

(Also Dishonored has taken a portion of my time lol)

One of us is going through some shit right now. The other is goings their own problems.
As of right now 2/3's of us are having not the best of times with life. Not to imply that the last 1/3 is having a good time either.

When the world allows us, we will continue to make these.

Yeah, I'm really sorry everyone. I feel like a lot of the delay is my fault, since I dont have stable internet or computer use right now. So, I'm real sorry guys and I hope we'll be able to start reviews again soon!
