But really. In Graphicsgale you can paint frames, and export it as a movie (AVI). You can then either conver it to OGV or just use a script that allows AVI in RPGMaker.

You should make a tutorial on how to use graphics gale. Seriously. I've tried to set it up and use it, but I just can't. Gimp is cool and all for other things, but graphics gale is like ... designed for pixel art. I'm not a noob at pixel art, but I find its interface cluttered and confusing. O.O
