Title: [VX] [Shop] DP3's Cinematic Event (Scene)
Post by: D&P3 on June 03, 2012, 11:03:22 AM
So I'm gonna be offering to help make what I like to think are cutscenes for RPG Maker VX.
Some examples of what I am talking about are below.
Examples
Spoiler for Example 1:
There is a whole bunch of events being used for this one, it normally runs fine, but combining a screen recorder with the scene made it look laggy. It's normally a lot better than the vid makes it out to be ;)
Spoiler for Example 2:
Again it's laggy as all hell because my computer doesn't function well with recording and processing, it's normally smooth.
Spoiler for Example 3:
This one was done in my unofficial game in 10 hours project, it can use a little more polish, but I'm happy with what I achieved from only a 15 minute job, this includes the opening scene. I think I could do better if I am given the time :)
Check the attachments for a project which will show some more events (and the two above without the lag >_>).
How it Works You describe to me what you want to see happen, in detail. This includes how many people/monster/whatever are in it (doesn't need to be a specific number) and what the player is doing.
If I like your idea, I'll let you know that I'm happy to do it. If this is the case, you'll need to transfer the maps (that I need to make the scene for) onto a new project; also including a transition map (if any). [A transition map is the map that the player transfers from to the event scene.] And any music that you wanted to be used.
Once done, you send that new project to me and I get underway.
I send it back to you once I'm done. Simple, right?
Conditions I'm doing this when I have free time to do so. Don't expect your request to be fulfilled instantly.

I'm not sure if that was a good response or a bad one ???
