Title: [solved]Hey everyone, help with rpgmaker 2003, probably simple..thanks.
Post by: Chillthorn on September 11, 2011, 11:03:18 PM
Well, my issue is that when I turn on a switch to make a sprite character dissapear
I can't walk through that area were the sprite was standing. Its one of those things
I never figured out even though it's probably a simple fix. I have no programming knowledge, & I don't think you would need any to solve this problem.

Any help would be appreciated!

I hope I don't get anyone mad for bumping, but it's a simple
problem that I need to fix & it's been a couple days, any
input would atleast let me know why people have read
my post without adding a response. Sorry, I know Im
probably gonna get shit for this.

Are you making sure to completely remove the sprite rather than turning it transparent? I don't have RPG Maker 2003, but I can't double check later on a different computer and get back to you tomorrow if you're still having problems.

Okay, this was dumb, I figured it out. Sorry for the extra posts. I was using empty spaces in different character pages for the transparency instead of using the passable invisible pink tile on the town, dungeon, world map pages.

I have been using the program (not professionally) on and off since 2000, Im not a scripter and there's sometimes little stupid things that I haven't figured out like this. But I figured it out, so that's good. :)
