Now please people, :o before u post this battlers on the other forums/site or use them on you game please do give creds saying dollmage made this/that battler thank you so much :D

All battlers here are made by me Dollmage do give credit if use. no need to asked permission as long as you dont claim that you made this stuff and if ever you use it tell the pips playing your game that i made it tnx. ;D

These look really cute. The only thing that really bothers me is the axe dude's handle for the axe. It doesn't seem to be the same style as the blade part of the axe. It has a hard outline while the axe itself seems to have a softer outline. Otherwise, they are quite nice looking. ^^

oh that ^_^ well once it animates you wont notice much diff.

any way here is another one =) class gunner i like the victory pose :D it looks cool

the bazooka looks alot different in color then the rest of the sprite, but then that might have been what you were going for.

actualy i didnt make the bazook was a bit lazy =p i just use the wing of the robot from kn

^_^ knights of keresomething 4got ill try to make a real looking magical bazook when i think of what it would look like ^_^ making guns is not my strong forte =p

well at first i use white ties as a template :) then after a month ago i tried making one from scratch it looks ok but the thing is its size is different from the rest ^_^ so now i made a template and still using that template so its size would be the same ) ill post some more ill concentrate on my game a bit =)

Mostly, the people who use side-view battle systems are spriters like yourself, simply because relying on requests and donations for all their battlers is kind of annoying. There are a few though, and it is really good that you are posting them. Keep up the good work, they are great sprites.

yes, but this was so long ago I lost the original he looks like this now its one of my very first sprite the poses are not that good. coz at that stage i was just learning how to sprite

well i can only work on sat. and sunday actualy in depends when i dont put much effort in it i can make a whole sheet i bout an hour? but see my avatar dun even asked how long that take lol,

I can answer you this...
it's minkoff side-view system but you can also use it on ccoa's side-view

and you have to put that sapareted on the balttlers folder
like this: ready pose- you do "name_ready"
lowhp pose- you do "name_lowhp"

you have to remove the background and separate it... it's easy with Photoshop

if you download the demo you can see the examples

answer: Yes you dont need to do that.What you need to do is just upload the whole image found on the battlers, as long as you use minkoff sideview battlers found wich on the first post

answer: i did not post ccoa's sideview battle system. the one found on megaupload is a combination of scripts for the large party and side view battle
(reason because ccoa's sideview the battlers need' many seperate image. which would be confusing to some people)

no you can just import the whole image underbattler's, again you need minkoff's sideview battlers to use this images.

ok when using minkoff side view battlers you can use my whole spritesheet or side view battler set,
ye as a whole image just import them under battlers then just do the regular stuff when changing your battlers then after this its done.

*(oh and yes no more edit needed coz their already configured that way and much more easier for some people coz on RM2k3 "well i think its on RM2k3" the old system is much like this) *

oh yeah when you use minkoff side view battlers and wanna find out more just click on the thread most of you question would be answer there...

the battle system and animation are far from good but the map I ask grafikal which is the only town map i will have

you cant blame me ^^ its a monster totaly from scratch =p and its not human lewl im havin a bit of hard time animating them reason i havent seen any real monster lewl.

maybe a few more tries ^^ and ill get on the grove of making good mobs =) that 100% match the human battlers

Hi, Guys. I not new to Rpg Maker, But I'm having trouble with your sprites, Dollmage.

When I inport the whole thing into Battlers, It shows up like on the top half of the attack animation, in the middle

its shows the whole ready animation, and on the bottom attack animation, and when I attack it's like one animation of the attck

Could someone help me with this CBS? I'm not new to RPG Maker, but I am new to this website and am looking for some help. I am using all the things provided on this thread(the battle system, the character sprites, etc), but for some reason, whenever a character gets damaged in battle, the HP bar doesn't decrease. The character still takes the damage, but it isn't represented. Hopefully I explained this good enough and hopefully someone can help...I'm sorry if this should've been posted somewhere else, but I'm just in desperate need of help...Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

Greets, seems like this has been quiet for awhile.. Well i'm pretty new to rpgmakerxp use to use 2003 and dude your battle system and sprites are sweet man really really awesome =:) i've checked it out and using it in my little project, but i lack knowledge in scripts that i'm learning currently, in your system wen a character recieves battle damage it doesn't show at the bottom bars but only in the one after the battle in the character menu, how can i resolve this? had a look thru the scripts but honestly to afraid to touch anything and screw it up haha, help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Dezireal

EDIT - alright think i wasn't explaining it fully, now in battle you have your hp value now wen the opponent does lets say one hundred damage it's not reflected on the status window at the bottom but does reflect after battle, same for the sp gauge i do believe it's a scripting error some where, but i just don't know where, there's another problem with the battler animation wen it's targeted by a monster the animation freezes til the move is complete. I know i must sound like a utter noob lol but if anyone could explain to me why this is happening, or if it can be resolved if so how?

Hey, so, i must say. Amazing. You pretty much inspire me to work on my own battlers, your that epic haha
I'm currently working on my first battler, and who knows, maybe it won't be too bad. I've got two poses done it's pretty cool so far :) And perhaps I'll make a few that are almost as good as yours in time. One can only dream though.. :P But first things first, Dollmage, you gotta come back and make more battlers for me to be in awe of! xD

Let me start out by saying that I am a big fan of yours. And I absolutely love your sprites.

There are a few issues that I would like to address though..
1.) some of you battlers don't seem to be there.. there is just a link to a 404 error.
2.) also, there is an issue with your sig, it goes to some site called Stencyl?
3.) also, there are some sprites on your sig that aren't posted on this thread.

THX MAN, this was the only battle script for rpg maker xp that's good and similar to side view battle system, and the sprites are also wicked! this was sick! but i only have one question, why doesn't the hp change like right after damage? and why does it only change when the round is over or someone dies? :( please help

Sounds like a line is missing after the damage is calculated. : O see, the hp might be updated, but it wont show unless it's told to, I'll bet. I think the text needs to be refreshed.

Thing is I have no idea how to do that. :V
