We need a major wiki upd8

Ok here's how we are going to do this. Everyone who wants their wiki updated will post saying they want to. And I will take their username and put it in a hat. Then once we get everyone who wants theres updated Im going to pull two usernames out of the hat. They must update eachothers wikis. I will not pull out anymore usernames until the two earlier members have done there job. That way someone doesnt just have theres updated and does nothing.

It would be like the rest of the member articles then, because nobody cares and just writes their own (really poorly I might add). Except for the good articles, those are the ones I did :3

Mine started out good, but people kept adding random stuff, so now it's kind of disorganized. Besides the stuff Halo wrote. That stuff is solid.

A bunch of us should resolve to do a major update ;o;

I think I added 2007 RMRK Awards results to mine - still haven't gotten around to changing the format though.

I added bits and pieces but it still makes me look like an immature fag.

I made the first page, then added a thing or two to update it a little.

If it's possible, could someone ban the user Roc4tAldro from editting wiki's? Three times have I had to remove stuff that he/she added to the Crankeye.com page, including several links to porn. It's getting annoying.

I've finished the 2008 RMRK Awards article and updating all award pages (thanks to Zylos for finishing the last few up for me while I was gone  ). More importantly, several members who won awards have no article of their own. If you think you can do a decent job, please feel free to create an article for one of these members or any other item that is redlinked.

I haven't updated individual member articles with the 2008 results either, so if someone would like to undertake that, feel free to do that as well.

A reminder that writing your own wiki article is frowned upon. In addition, even though RMRK is far from being a serious place, please keep in mind that the wiki is to be somewhat serious, in that articles shouldn't consist of sentences like "HE WAS SUCH A NOOB LOL" and "(insert member name here) IS THE COOLEST MEMBER EVAR". Even though it seems like these are exaggerated examples they are actually the kind of thing I've removed dozens of times.

ALSO - when writing a member's article, include the category at the bottom of the page. If you don't, the article won't show up anywhere except for the "All Pages" page. It should be [[Category:Members]]

I'll update the individual members' pages, but it might take up to a week before I can. I will try to do it soon.

I'll start some of them tonight. I don't have anything better to do, and I have some albums that I want to check out, so I'll just multi-task.

EDIT: If nobody minds, I'd like to finish doing these myself. I have a system worked out, and it's going pretty well. Any objections?

EDIT 2: I'm also doing away with the tables that have been used for past RMRK awards. Not only are they clunky and unappealing, but most of the information on them is unnecessary.

I like the tables and they took a lot of work  :'(

But if you have a nicer looking system then that's cool too. But I don't think I want you to get rid of them - they present the information very well IMO.

And yeah, I don't mind if you finish them

I took the tables out because tables look trashy, like they belong on a geocities site. Nobody cares who nominated who, what percent of the votes someone got, or if someone came in 9th place. Those things just takes up needless space.

As for your messed up wiki, Sword, I haven't included the post-based awards yet, I'm doing those last. And thanks for letting me know about the year mix-up, I'll change that as soon as I get home from work.
