I voted other: try Construct, or the Construct 2 beta, which was recently released. It's a beautiful piece of software. Very quick, very awesome and yet you can do everything with it.

igmaker doesn't even deserve to be in the same category

game maker is better

lots of things are better than game maker

I don't see VX or XP amongst the choices.
This thread is therefore ridiculous.

If you used it you'd understand. It's an incredibly juniorised program and it is very difficult to make anything but three set sample games with it. Game Maker on the other hand is cheaper, less specialised, and overall much nicer to work in.

IGMaker belongs in the same category as, say, "The 3D Game Maker Lite".
