  • I feel like it sounds a lot like shit mostly just because it's youtube. Youtube is never good for quality anything.

  • What kind of hardware does it have? An NES sound chip?

  • It's cool.
Cool watching people play it, cool looking at the lighting and the design.
    Practical? Not very.

EDIT: Well, it might be easier to play....

  • That is very cool, and regardless of what you guys are saying about the sound, it looks to be of really high quality and the design is quite pleasing.

The sound could easily be the quality of the sound chip, and it probably is (and youtube certainly isn't helping) but that's something easy (although rather expensive I assume) to up in quality.

  • It's cool, but I feel like it could give the user the illusion that they can actually play a real guitar. We already have games for that. :P I mean, it's much closer than Guitar Hero or anything will be like, but you don't really play a guitar like that. >_> But, that aside, it's pretty cool, lol. It seems really limited compared to a real guitar (you can't slide, it seems, and you can't do harmonics), but you never know :o

  • Hook it up to a computer with Logic or ProTools and use it as a MIDI input device or a controller, and THEN I'll be impressed.

It's a real functional instrument. It would still require you to know some amount of music theory to play or compose music on it. Guitar Hero just requires you to press buttons.
