me and two other friends at school want to get a boxee pc (running linux) up and going where we transfer and share movies/music/tv shows we torrent/rip regularly through ftp directly to the htpc.

Would it work together? seems so. And if you can tell, could that support 1080p HD?
it was this or an apple tv, which doesn't support 1080p/i, or a mac mini but heck that is old and overpriced
